3. Snowshoeing

If skiing or snowboarding isn’t your thing but you still want to experience winter sports, then why not try snowshoeing through the snowy Central Cascade Mountains? You won’t be disappointed on your adventure as you’ll pass beautiful scenery, wildlife, and the calmness that comes with being out in nature. Plus, it’s a great workout without feeling like one! You can rent snowshoes from The Summit and also included with your rental is a trail ticket to use on the designated trails maintained by The Summit and other locations along Snoqualmie Pass. A few trails to consider: Palouse To Cascades Trail, Franklin Falls, Gold Creek Pond, Old Commonwealth Trail.

4. Tubing

Tubing is one of the most popular winter activities around today because it’s exhilarating yet accessible for all skill levels—from beginners to experienced adventurers alike. The Summit at Snoqualmie has multiple lanes, so you can race your friends and family down the hill. You don’t need any special skills — just an adventurous spirit! Once you have your tube ready, all you have to do is find a lane and start sliding down. Tubing is great fun for all ages, making it the perfect winter activity for families.
